V-FLY Silver Tippet squirrel version: Unique and highly efficient Riffling Hitch fly for surface fishing, for among other, salmon, sea trout and steelhead. We have now added a High-viz green head to make it easier for you to see Tied on an exclusive tube made especially for us. A strategically positioned opening in the belly of the fly serves as insertion hole for the leader, hereby creating a very different angel of trajectory - forcing the fly to pull to the surface. The length and dimension of the tube and the position of the insertion hole, makes this fly create the perfect subtle V-mark on the surface. We use hairs from superior quality squirrel. Neither to stiff nor to soft - with fine vibrant action. The wing is tied in a specific V shape that has proven most effective on Atlantic salmon and steelhead. These flies have been designed and tested over more than 13 years and have demonstrated to be the absolutely right combination of material and technical design.
